Short description
HANSE 495 NEW sleek hull shape was achieved with a combination of hull and superstructure geometry, using the form U-shaped section of the hull structure and a deck of new design. The forward deckhouse easily accessible and secure with a large cockpit with an integrated free zone table combine to make browsing easy and safer for the crew. A simple large aft platform forms an ideal gangway ports, in addition to being a perfect platform for the bathroom. The concept of easy navigation was further developed. Of course all the maneuvers are controlled by the helmsman's position, assisted by electric winches. On customer's request the Hanse can provide joystick to maneuver for a berth without stress, which moves the yacht under the engine thrust in any direction. Designed by Judel/Vrolijk & co/Interior/Schnaase Interior Design Watervision/EC category to(ocean) by GL best lines of the hull appendixes and a well-proportioned sail area. The Hanse 495 is a new interpretation of the concept of loft-style that Hanse introduced for serial production of sailing yachts. Birgit Schnaase Interior Design SID have overseen the development of this extremely flexible and customizable approach. The main attractions are the well-equipped kitchen with generous external view,an L-shaped sofa and the possibility to place the owners cabin with separate heads forwards or backwards. The Hanse Cabin Concept offers a wide range of options. The Hanse 495 has a minimum headroom of 2 metres and a new concept of ambient lighting.
Our guidelines for Judel Vrolijk Design Office & Co were simple,but extremely challenging. The new Hanse 495 shouldn't have too much volume in the hull,but it must be adapted for an interior concept that allows a home owners with ensuite heads bow,and the stern section. We also asked for the possibility of two comfortable cabins double bow as a customer option. The living room and the kitchen needed to be as generous as possible for a yacht of 49 feet.
These guidelines for a spacious interior and flexible in an elegant shape of the hull were made with a careful combination of geometry of hull and superstructure,using a format "U to hull structure and a design evocative of the deckhouse.
