The strength of an idea become history
When a passion crosses over four decades becomes history. Ferretti was born in 1968, a landmark year for the history of the world and the sea, when the brothers Alessandro and Norberto Ferretti give life to their enterprise. Three years later, in 1971, at the salone di Genova is greeted with success the first boat of type wooden motor sailer, sailing both engine and 10 metres long and particularly convenient for cruises. Intuition is successful and, within a short time, Ferretti shipyards allows to appear in the list of the most prestigious in the world.
In 1982 Ferretti presents the first motor boat and begins to type sport fisherman boats, open and flybridge that already have all those revolutionary innovations still applied today throughout the marine industry: the swimming platform aft folding Windows that open salon on the cockpit and the internal step from the flying bridge exhibition. The 1990s are characterized by the research and development of nautical engineering, with the birth of the Engineering Division and the winners performance obtained in the Offshore races. The following years saw the company's growth until they reach the current range which is renewed from year to year with cutting-edge design solutions.
